Cristina Criddle writes about technology for the FT and specialises in social media, big tech regulation and emerging technologies like the metaverse and artificial intelligence.

She won gold at the 2023 MHP Group 30ToWatch Journalism awards for her technology reporting.

Previously, she was a technology reporter at the BBC, where she presented on TV, radio and podcasts, as well as produced the documentary The Instagram Effect.
